Counselling
I offer a confidential, therapeutic space for you to talk about what you are finding difficult. This can be a specific issue, such as anxiety, stress, low mood, low self-esteem, a pattern that keeps showing up in your relationships, work issues, loss or uncertainty you are finding hard to move through. Unlike coaching, therapy is not goal-driven or fast, we go at a pace that is right for you.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches rather than a single fixed model, adapting to what is most helpful for you from session to session.
I provide a safe, warm, confidential, non-judgmental space for you to work through your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. I am a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work in line with the BACP's ethical framework for counselling.
I offer in-person or online sessions for the following issues:
ADHD/AuDHD
Co-dependency
Self-Esteem
Anxiety
Faith: Christianity
Stress
Burnout
Life Transitions
Relationship Issues
Career
Racial Trauma
Women's Issues
Coaching
You may ask, “What is coaching?” Coaching is not therapy, it does not focus on processing and healing from past experiences.
Coaching is a structured, goal-focused process to achieve personal or professional growth. It is for you if you are generally coping well but want support to clarify what you want and how you will overcome the challenges that stand in your way, whilst building the confidence to achieve your goal faster than you would if you did it alone.
As the client, you will bring the goal you want to achieve. I bring the structure, psychological grounding, and supportive challenge to help you achieve your goals.
As your coach, I use applied positive psychology, coaching psychology and evidence-based interventions to help you along your journey.
I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), the Association for Coaching (AC), and the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), I work in line with all of their frameworks.
I offer in-person or online sessions for the following issues:
Career Change
Mindset and Confidence Change
Goal Setting and Momentum
Wellbeing and Health
Life and Personal Development
Work/Life Balance
Stress and Resilience
Unhelpful Relationship Patterns
Therapeutic Coaching
Sometimes coaching alone is not quite enough. There is something underneath the goal that needs your attention first. And sometimes therapy alone does not move you forward as much as you would like, it has helped raise your awareness and make you understand yourself better, but something is still missing.
Therapeutic coaching bridges the gap by combining the depth of counselling with the forward focus of coaching psychology. Together, we work through what is holding you back internally: old patterns, unresolved conflict, lack of confidence, the things that have repeatedly gotten in the way. We then focus on what you want, identifying clear, practical steps towards your goals in your relationships, career, health, and your sense of self. As things start to shift, we work towards long-lasting change by using tools and support to keep you going. This is a collaborative process; you set the direction, and I provide the space and framework for us to do the work.
Therapeutic coaching is particularly suited for ADHD and AuDHD clients and anyone navigating burnout, major life transitions or perfectionism, where emotional processing and practical structure work together, empowering you to take action to create change.
This is for you if:
You have done therapy and now want to turn insight into action
Coaching alone has left you feeling like the “real issue” was never addressed
Rather than juggling working with a coach and a therapist, you want one person to work with
You are ready to look honestly at what is underneath, while moving forward
